Use the service Get It Now to access new articles from Elsevier
Since the subscription agreement between Örebro University and the publisher Elsevier was terminated, articles in Elsevier journals published after 30 June 2018 are not available. The Library has therefore implemented a service, Get It Now that will deliver recent Elsevier articles directly to university staff.
You can reach Get It Now from our discovery tool Primo, or through the Elsevier website and from many other databases. Use your @oru.se email address when you order and you will get the article delivered directly to your email as a PDF file. The article will be delivered within 8 hours (normal delivery time is 2 hours). You can order up to 5 articles a day. The fees are covered by the library.
The PDF file can be accessed for 120 days and printed twice. It is not permitted to share either the PDF file or the printed article to anyone.
The service works for most Elsevier journals, but not for ”online first” articles published on the publisher's website. The library is working on making it work for all articles published after July 1. If you come across an article that you cannot access this way, then please contact the library for help.
If you are a student you cannot use the Get It Now service. You need to order Elsevier articles via the interlibrary order form at a cost of SEK 50 each.
How to order via Get It Now
From Primo, order by clicking on the CCC Get It Now link. Use your @oru.se email.
From the Elsevier website, click on the “Get Access” button on top of the article reference page.
Choose the “Check for fulltext” button to get to the request form.
