Wednesday, January 16, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., you are welcome to re-opening celebrations at the Main Library on Campus Örebro. In 2019, Örebro University celebrates 20 years as a university with celebrations taking place all through the year. The re-opening of the newly refurbished Main Library is a part of that celebration.
Over the last year, we have been working on improving the library's study environments, and now wish to celebrate the completion of our work in our newly refurbished premises.
From 12 p.m., there will be mingling, refreshments and music from the group Nyansen, a jazz quartet consisting of students from the School of Music, Theatre and Arts at Örebro University.
The program starts at 13:00 with:
- Inauguration by deputy vice-chancellor Anna-Karin Andershed
- Speech by The Örebro Student Union
- "It was at the library it all began!". Elin Häggberg, award-winning technology blogger, former employee at the university library and alumni from Örebro University, trend scouts on the library's place in the digital age and future.
