To support universities transitioning to distance learning, many publishers are temporarily offering free or extended access to selected digital resources. The duration may vary.
Some of the resources below are freely available for all users, while others are only available for students and staff.
Resources with free or extended access
Free access to an ebook collection, as well as a number of thematic collections in various subject areas, until June 30. Access is available for students and staff.
Free access to some 90 000 ebooks through June 30. Access is available for students and staff.
EBSCOhost Harvard Business Publishing Collection
The eBooks in this collection are freely available for students and staff until May 30.
Access to some 400 e-learning courses. The courses are avaliable for teachers and students until June 30.
JoVe Science Education
A video library dedicated to teaching scientific fundamentals through simple easy-to-understand video demonstrations. Available for students and staff until June 15.
JSTOR is offering access to a number of additional collections (journal archives) until December 31. Further, access to some 30 000 e-books is enabled until June 30. Extended access is available for students and staff.
MIT Press Direct
Complimentary access to the publisher's catalogue of eBooks through the end of June 2020. Available for students and staff.
A large number of publishers offer free access to e-books and journals on the platform. Students and staff are recommended to use the link above. The free material is however also available for the public through this link.
SAGE Knowledge Books
A collection of e-books, primarily in the social sciences. Available for students and staff until June 25.
SAGE Knowledge Reference
Reference works in a number of subject areas. Available for students and staff until June 25.
SAGE Knowledge Video Collection
SAGE Video showcases educational video across key social science disciplines. Available for students and staff until June 25.
SAGE Research Methods Videos
Includes tutorials, interviews, video case studies, and mini-documentaries covering the entire research process. Available for students and staff until June 25.
