The Main Library is located on Campus Örebro. The library runs over two floors and has many individual study spots, student computer workstations, and group study rooms.
The library holds two copies of all obligatory course books used at the university. There is also a reference copy that can be taken out on day loan.
The area of the building is approximately 9,000 square meters. It was completed in June 1996 after an about 15 months long construction period.
The library building was constructed by Uhlin & Malm Arkitektkontor AB with design by Julianna Farago and interior design by Ulf Löfgren. Per-Åke Peterson was managing the project for Akademiska Hus.
