Your loans can be automatically renewed

For most books at the University Library, automatic renewals apply. If there are no reservations on the books you've borrowed, the loan is automatically renewed for a new period as soon as the loan period expires.

Renewal occurs if the maximum loan period has not been reached, which, in most cases, is 1 year. This also depends on whether you are not blocked from borrowing or if your account's validity period has not expired. Course reference books may not be renewed.

If an automatic renewal is not possible, a reminder will be sent via email to return the book. The reminder is sent as an additional service. Please note that you are always responsible for checking the loan period.
