Information on personal data breach
On 13 February 2020, Örebro University received information concerning a breach on “VFU-torget” – the university’s system for managing placements. This breach identified unauthorized access to students’ personal data.
The breach is resolved and a comprehensive investigation of the system has been initiated. A personal data breach report has been registered at the Data Inspection Board in accordance with established routines.
Programmes concerned are: the programme in medicine, the health care programmes, the social care programme and the teacher programmes.
