From a precision nutrition perspective, PAN Sweden aims to clarify how processing, structure, bioavailability, digestion, and fermentation of proteins affect health – with a focus on gut health, metabolism, and mental well-being.

We work with meals rather than individual ingredients, paying special attention to dietary fiber. In addition, we study sensory aspects and consumer behavior related to plant-based proteins, supported by gastronomic test environments that simulate real meal situations. Research that makes plant-based food both healthy and appealing.
