Machine Perception and Interaction Lab
The goal of the Machine Perception and Interaction (MPI) lab is to develop methods and techniques that enable intelligent systems to perceive, understand, and interact with the world. Our research spans the intersection of AI, robotics, and cybersecurity, covering areas including Embodied AI, Human-AI and Agent Interactions, Neuro-symbolic AI, Neuro-inspired AI, Embodied Cybersecurity, and Machine Learning and Representation Learning.
We investigate how autonomous systems extract meaningful knowledge from sensor data, reason about complex physical environments, and interact safely and effectively with humans and other agents. Our work combines foundational research with applied projects, carried out in collaboration with industry and academic partners in areas such as social robotics, smart environments, multi-agent systems, and AI security.
