New version of the SciFree Search Service
For some time now, there has been a new version of SciFree. The old platform has been redirected to the new version, but if you have saved a bookmark in your browser, you should update it.
The new address for the service is https://search.scifree.se/oru.
SciFree is a search service for journals covered by agreements that Örebro University has entered into with publishers. Most of the journals found in SciFree are included in prepaid agreements. The entire cost of publishing with open access is then processed through the agreement. Some agreements only provide a discount on the cost.
In SciFree's search results list, journals covered by prepaid agreements are indicated with a gray icon and the text This is paid in full by the Library. Journals with a discount on the publication fee are indicated with a yellow icon and the text There is a discount on the open access charge.
