Publishing agreement: Elsevier
Corresponding authors at Örebro University are eligible to publish open access at no cost in most of the publisher's journals. Publication charges are covered for articles submitted January 1, 2020, at the earliest.
In order to publish open access under the agreement commencing January 1:
- Choose Örebro University under the section Corresponding Author’s Organization.
- Select the option “Select Gold Open Access” under the section Gold Open Access. Provided that the journal is part of the agreement, you should now see some information indicating that you will not be charged.
When you have completed all steps on the publisher’s author platform, the University Library will be automatically notified to verify the author’s institutional affiliation. A confirmation letter is sent when the verification has been carried out.
Journals covered by the agreement
Costs for publishing open access are covered in most (some 2,300) of the publisher's journals. Hybrid open access journals from Cell Press are not included in the agreement.
With the SciFree journal search tool, you can check if a journal is included in any of the University Library’s publisher agreements.
Minor adjustments may occur.
Charges not included
Other charges, for example color charges and page charges, are not covered by the agreement.
