Disease burden, outcome and resource utilization of atopic dermatitis in children and adults in Sweden.
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is common in children and adults. Although effective treatment can promote recovery, there is incomplete knowledge about how AD is treated in Sweden today, about the disease burden and related costs.
The overall purpose of this dissertation is to assess the disease burden of AD, in particular resource utilization, costs to both society and individuals, and quality of life.
