Alfred Jimenez Romanenko is a composer, researcher, and university lecturer specializing in music theory and musical expression. His artistic practice centers on the relationship between sound, gesture, and scenic presence. Through this, he develops performative strategies in which music emerges from bodily processes and ontological emergence.

As a composer, Jimenez has collaborated with leading ensembles and orchestras such as Avanti! (FI), AuditivVokal Dresden (DE), Norrköpings Symfoniorkester (SE), Antwerp Symphony Orchestra (BE), Helsingborgs Symfoniorkester (SE), Musica Vitae (SE), Flower City Brass (US), Fontana Mix Ensemble (IT), Kreutzer Quartet (UK), Ensemble Boswil (CH), Ensemble Nordlys (DK), and Norrbotten NEO (SE). His works have been performed at leading festivals including the Zagreb Biennale, reMusik in St. Petersburg, Nordic Music Days, Barcelona Modern Festival, and Stockholm Sound.
