About Aljosa Noga
Aljosa is a lecturer in law. His research interests include the interdisciplinary study of law, international law, and holistic and critical issues on the role of international law in the international community.
Aljosa's dissertation, The Tragedy of the Global Commons in Public International Law (2022), examines and evaluates selected international legal norms in our global commons (the oceans, the atmosphere and outer space) with the theory of the tragedy of the commons and its various component parts. The dissertation proceeds from a critical legal analysis through which existing legal norms are analyzed with the use of non-legal material in order to address the current state of public international law in relation to our global commons.
