About Camilla Nilsson

Camilla Nilsson is a librarian at Örebro University Library at the unit of acquisititons and scholarly publishing and is located at the Main Library, Campus Örebro. Camilla is an alumni from Örebro university from which she has a bachelor's degree in Gender Studies (2014). She has a master's degree in Library and Information Studies from Uppsala University (2017).

Camilla is on parental leave from September 2023 to June 2024.

Media

Camilla is responsible for selecting and purchasing print media for several disciplines and subjects, such as:

• humanities, gender studies, media- and communication studies, rhetoric and political science
• social sciences and social work
• music and theater
• biology and environmental studies, natural science, mathematics, chemistry, computer science and engineering
• informatics and statistics

Special collections

Camilla also shares responsability for the library special collections. This includes, among other things, digitalizing material in the platform Alvin.

The Sheet Music Library

Camilla acquires music material for the Sheet Music Library at the School of Music. She also orders hire notes for performances.

Service for students with disabilities

Camilla Nilsson is one of the contacts at the library for students with disabilities and handles questions concerning Legimus.
