About Camilla Persson

As a lecturer in Building Technology Camilla Persson conducts teaching in building physics, building materials, building technology, mathematical modelling, sustainable development and life cycle assessments.

These areas also include her research interests.

In present research Camilla studies among other things the mechanical interaction between materials and a finger like sensor. The idea behind the research is to increase understanding of how material, geometry and manufacturing influences the resulting interaction and to communicate this in the product chain coupled to measurable physical parameters to enable optimizations towards better customization and use.

In previous research Camilla has studied heat losses and environmental impact from district heat distribution and construction of piping systems and insulation materials to decrease heat losses.
