About Dana Nilsson

Dana Nilsson is a writing instructor at Academic Writing Support in Örebro University Library. She offers support to students and doctoral students regarding academic reading and writing in Swedish.

Student teaching

Dana teaches academic writing in the following scientific subjects

• culinary arts and hospitality

• environmental science
• industrial and management engineering

• nursing science
• occupational therapy 
• social work.

Teaching in courses for university teachers

Since 2016 Dana has taught at the Örebro University Centre for Academic Development. She has a strong commitment to issues of higher education, especially feedback, progression in academic writing and academic literacies.

Membership in networks

Dana is an active member of the Network for academic writing and language support centers in the Nordic countries, the Network for Literacity and learning in higher education and the National network for academic literacy focused on students with Swedish as a second language.
