About Nikie de Leeuw
I have been a doctoral candidate in political science since 2023. My research concerns comparative approaches to gender, political opinion, and political behavior. I am particularly interested in applying experimental methods and developing measures to further understand gendered political opinion and behavior.
My teaching responsibilities centers around how traditional areas of political science, such as participation, representation, opinion, and leadership, can be analyzed from sociological, psychological and gender perspectives. I also teach quantitative methods.
I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Political Science from University of Gothenburg.
