About Pernilla Andersson
Pernilla is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Nutrition-Gut-Brain Interactions Research Centre (NGBI) at Örebro University. She earned a BSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from University of Skövde, Sweden, and an MRes in Cognitive Neuroscience from University College London (UCL), UK. In 2024, she completed her PhD in Psychology at Örebro University, where her research focused on age-related differences in brain structure and function, with particular emphasis on working memory and cognitive control.
Prior to her current position, she worked as a Research Assistant on the MiniMeal project at NGBI, Örebro University.
