About Sofia Palmér
Sofia is a physician specialized in oncology at Örebro University Hospital and a PhD candidate in medical science at Örebro University. Her research is focused on breast cancer and explores long-term prognosis and late recurrence in breast cancer.
Her doctoral thesis project is titled "Optimizing treatment and follow-up strategies in early breast cancer with focus on long-term outcomes". Her principal supervisor is associate professor and consultant oncologist Antonis Valachis. Her assistant supervisors are Johan Ahlgren, associate professor and consultant oncologist, and Christine Lundgren, PhD and consultant oncologist.
