About Utsav Panchal
Utsav Panchal is a PhD candidate at Örebro University, Sweden, under the supervision of Amy Loutfi and Denis Kleyko. His research focuses on curiosity-driven reinforcement learning, with an emphasis on enabling autonomous agents to explore efficiently, learn from their environments, and make decisions independently. He also works in robotics, particularly on developing robust robot control policies for real-world scenarios.
Prior to joining Örebro University, Utsav completed his M.Sc. in Information Technology at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. His master's research focused on multi-human behavior prediction. His broader research interests lie at the intersection of reinforcement learning, autonomous decision-making, and robotics, with the goal of developing intelligent agents that can learn, adapt, and act effectively in complex environments.
