The Excellent Teaching Award is presented to two teachers each year by Örebro Student Union as commissioned by the Örebro University. The award goes to a teacher who has been particularly competent, pedagogically skilled and knowledgeable – with that extra pinch of dedication – in their teaching.

“Last year, we received 240 nominations – which shows that we have many competent, pedagogically skilled and knowledgeable teachers,” says Kaltum Mohamud, Vice President and Student Welfare Officer at Örebro Student Union.

“Here at Örebro University, several hundred teachers are working every day to create the best possible conditions for our students to acquire essential knowledge for their careers and lives,” adds Deputy Vice-Chancellor Anna-Karin Andershed.

Does your favourite teacher deserve the Excellent Teaching Award for 2018? Then nominate her or him on orebrostudentkar.se/pedagogiskapriset – nomination period 5–18 November.
