We welcome employees, teachers and students to share ideas on how AI can strengthen and develop our support functions. The aim is to explore how AI can be integrated into the university’s ways of working to create a more proactive, efficient and forward-looking support organisation.

As part of this initiative, a selection of submitted proposals will be further developed into proof-of-concept projects within the regional development initiative AI.ÖMS. We are seeking proposals that not only improve existing processes but also demonstrate how AI can be utilised in new and innovative ways to tackle challenges, develop new approaches, and enable services that were previously not possible. This could include anything from more intelligent administrative tools and automated analytical support to AI-based services for educational development, research assistance, and organisational growth.

No matter if your proposal is large or small, well-developed or still in its early stages, we want to hear about it. We encourage curiosity and courage. Together, we aim to build a project portfolio that demonstrates how AI can contribute to the university’s development and, at the same time, strengthen our role as a regional and national actor in future education, research, and administration.

Our aim is to support this vision by developing knowledge in close collaboration with students, the research community, and external partners.

Share your idea – and help us shape the next generation of support functions.

We are seeking proposals that not only enhance existing processes but also show how AI can be employed in innovative ways to tackle challenges, develop new approaches, and enable entirely new services.

Describe your idea and explain how you believe it can transform and enhance an existing process.
