Patient Advisory Board

The patient advisory board aims to recognise the experiences of patients affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease, its medication and associated challenges in daily life as mirrored in the NORDTREAT study. Since the study's launch, representatives of individual patients, as well as from patient associations from all over the Nordic countries, have met regularly. Patients have given their views on the study and discussed its ethical concerns. Further, patients have offered their voices to the media, all intending to disseminate the challenges of clinical IBD care and how the NORDTREAT study tries to take on these challenges.
