Publishing agreement: Oxford University Press

Corresponding authors at Örebro University are eligible to publish open access at no cost in some 300 of the publisher's journals.

The agreement covers article processing charges in most of the publisher’s hybrid journals. Some forty hybrid journals from learned societies are however not part of the agreement.

A list of all journals covered by the Swedish agreement is available on the publisher's website. Please refer to the column titled "Hybrid journals".

Instructions for Authors

You will receive an email when the article has been accepted for publication, inviting you to log into the publisher's online licensing and payment system, Author Services.

Next, you will be presented with the available license options for the journal in which the article is due to publish. Choose the open access license you prefer to publish under, and read and accept the Copyright Agreement.

On the page ”Publishing charges for your article” select Swedish Universities (Bibsam affiliated) from the dropdown list beneath ‘Open Access Prepayment Account’. Check the ‘Refer Charge?’-box next to the open access charge, and then click ‘Refer Charges’ at the bottom of the page.

The University Library will review and approve the corresponding author's affiliation to Örebro University. The corresponding author will receive an email informing them of the outcome.

Charges not included

Please note that ancillary publication charges, i.e. page, colour and offprint charges cannot be referred to the agreement – the author will need to arrange payment for these charges via another method, i.e. credit/debit card or invoice.
