Publishing agreement: SAGE
Corresponding authors at Örebro University are eligible to publish open access at no cost in most of the publisher’s hybrid journals (SAGE Choice), and in the publisher's full open access journals.
Author instructions
Please use your institutional email address (@oru.se) when submitting your article.
Upon acceptance of a manuscript you will receive an email from the publisher, informing you that the article may be published open access under the Swedish Bibsam agreement. Follow the instructions and proceed to the SAGE Open Access Portal, where the option to publish open access is preselected.
When choosing to publish open access, the CC BY license option will be preselected. Contact the publisher if you prefer another license option. Information on the various Creative Commons licenses is available on the National Library of Sweden’s web site.
Journals covered by the agreement
The publication charge is prepaid in full when publishing in SAGE’s hybrid journals. From 2024, the full open access charge in the publisher's full open access journals are covered by the agreement.
A small number of hybrid journals are not part of the publishing agreement. Please refer to the publisher's web site for a list of the excluded journals (“Journals that do not participate in SAGE Choice”).
Other charges
Other charges, for example color charges and page charges, are not covered by the agreement.
