Recording doctoral thesis in DiVA

The electronic announcement is issued by the University Library after we have received the approval by the head of school decision concerning the public defence of the doctoral thesis.

You the doctoral student will be notified via email and will receive a link to what is known as spikbladet, as soon it is available. Information on upcoming public defences is available in DiVA

Final print files are sent from Repro (University Printing Office) to the library. The library completes the registration of the thesis, begun with the announcement, and will notify the author when the thesis is published in DiVA.

In addition to the announcement, you may opt to publish the full-text version of the thesis or, in the case of a compilation thesis, the introductory chapter (kappa). The author retains copyright of the work, but gives Örebro University Library the right to publish it electronically.

Publishing a full-text version of the thesis increases availability and circulation of research results.
