Abstract
We will discuss model order reduction techniques of nonlinear systems based on multimoment matching and Krylov subspaces. The reduced order model matches the multimoments of the original system up to a certain order for each of the first few terms of the Volterrra series. This is done through building basis for Krylov subspaces and projection. The multimoments are matched implicitly. Particularly we will discuss model
order reduction of the following types of nonlinear systems: bilinear, linear quadratic, and polynomial systems. More general nonlinear systems can be approximated by these systems.
Since ‘fika’ will be served please register for the seminar to me by email no later than 15th of November.
