Content
The course will give the doctoral student knowledge in written scientific communication to be used in the dissertation work. The main focus will be on how to write a scientific article and the doctoral student will receive useful strategies on how to structure sentences and paragraphs in a clear, scientific way. With a basis in the strategies, the doctoral student will work on an article (that ultimately can be part of the dissertation) and will both receive and give feedback to other doctoral students on their articles. The course will also cover writing skills in connection to funding applications and peer review of scientific articles.

The course will be given autumn term 2024.
The course is offered at a quarter pace.
The applicant must be admitted to a doctoral programme.
