Course content

This course provides theoretical and practical instruction in presenting and discussing research results. The course aims primarily at according to outcome 6 in the general syllabus examining the doctoral student's ability in both national and international contexts to present and discuss research and research findings authoritatively in speech and writing and in dialogue with the academic community and society in general.

Course information

The course is carried out individually. As part of the course a presentation is to be carried out at an international conference and an oral presentation on the same subject at a seminar organised or approved by subject representative. The presentation shall be in English. Also a summary report is written, which includes a reflective study of the implementation and results.

Admission requirements

To gain access to the course and complete the examinations included in the course, the applicant must be admitted to doctoral education at Örebro University.
