How-To Guide Applying on Antagning.se

Applications for our international Master’s programmes via antagning.se are open each year between mid-March and mid-April, with admissions results published in July. We recommend that all international students apply through the international application round on universityadmissions.se, where the website and communication are in English and admissions results are published in late March or early April. This gives students more time to prepare for their move to Sweden.

Due to the admissions results being published in July, students who require a residence permit will not receive a permit decision in time to begin their studies in September. Therefore, we recommend that only applicants who do not require a residence permit apply via antagning.se.

The website antagning.se is available in Swedish. We recommend using your browser’s built-in translation service when navigating the site. Alternatively, we have compiled a guide below with screenshots to help you.

Please note that the screenshots were taken during an open application round. Therefore, your page may look different, and not all functions will be available if you access the page before or after an application round has closed.

We recommend that students begin the application process as early as possible to allow sufficient time to gather all required documents. Please note that students who apply via antagning.se and are required to pay tuition fees are not eligible to apply for the Örebro University Scholarship Programme.
