Laboratory safety training
To be granted permission to work in the laboratory and thereby participate in laboratory activities, it is mandatory for employees and students to complete both a theoretical session and a session in practical introductory training in laboratory safety. The theoretical part of the training is conducted online (through Blackboard) and must be successfully completed before the employee and student can proceed to the practical component. Only when the introductory training has been completed are students allowed to enter the laboratory and participate in laboratory activities. This ensures that everyone working in the laboratory possesses the necessary knowledge and understanding of the safety regulations that must be followed to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
