About Amund Hoffart

Amund Rake Hoffart is a PhD Candidate in Gender Studies at Örebro University since September 2015. He holds a master’s degree (M.Phil) in Philosophy from the University of Oslo and has previously worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Gender Research, Oslo. In his thesis work, Hoffart explores feminist conceptualizations of intersectionality as well as the translation of intersectional theory to different fields of practice.

Currently, Hoffart is also employed by the University of Oslo as a researcher on the Norwegian terminology project Fagtermer i kjønnsforskning. He is a member of the junior editorial board of NORA – Nordic Journal of Feminist and Gender Research.
