About Erik Bodensten
Erik Bodensten is a research fellow and lecturer in history. His research is devoted to early modern Swedish history, and deals with topics in the intersection between politics and culture. He is currently working on a research project on Lutheranism and the confessional knowledge of crop failure and famine in Sweden, c. 1600–1830. In previous projects, he have studied foreign information operations, republicanism, media, party politics, masculinity, subsidies, as well as the knowledge history of the potato.
