About Gisela Helenius

I have a combined employment, a lectureship in precision medicine and belong to the unit for clinical genomics at USÖ, which is a core facility for genomic analyses. https://www.oru.se/english/research/research-infrastructure/

Clinical Genomics Örebro is part of SciLifeLab and belongs to the core facility. I have an assignment from SciLifeLab as Platform scientific director for Clinical Genomics Örebro, https://www.scilifelab.se/units/clinical-genomics-orebro/.

Currently, I am on leave of absence for an assignment as head of unit at the ATMP centre at Skåne University Hospital in Lund.

My research focus is circulating biomarkers to detect cancer for diagnosis and follow-up.
