About Håkan Geijer

Håkan Geijer studied Medicine in Gothenburg, Sweden and is Board certified in Medical Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree with English as main subject. At present he works as a consultant at the Department of Radiology at Örebro University Hospital, Sweden.

He got his PhD degree at Linköping University in 2001, became Associate Professor at Örebro University in 2006, and is Professor since 2018. The research activities are mainly focused at radiation dose and image quality in radiology, initially in conventional radiology but later years more and more in computed tomography.
