Maria Axinge

About Maria Axinge

Maria Axinge is an education administrator and study counsellor at NT and has her office in the Technology Building in the administration corridor.

Maria works with the subject of Mechanical Engineering, specifically with the Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Master of Science in Engineering programmes within this field. She is also responsible, as a study counsellor, for the international master’s programmes at NT.

Maria is a certified upper secondary school teacher in Swedish and takes every opportunity to highlight what the transition from upper secondary school to higher education entails for new students. She believes in the possibility of making this transition smoother, both for new students and for teachers. She has also published a chapter in the book “Använd rummet” (Studentlitteratur, 2022) and has participated in a number of conferences focused on higher education pedagogy, such as the NU conferences.

Maria’s expertise in academic writing and academic competence will, in the long term, be utilized by NT in their education programmes.
