About Maria Fogelkvist
I am a clinical psychologist/PhD, currently working in a primary care setting for mental health in children and adolescents in Örebro county council, and at the University Health Care Research Center, Faculty of Medicine and Health, Örebro University.
I have previously worked at a specialized eating disorder outpatient clinic (2018-2021), and in a child and adolescent psychiatry outpatient clinic (2010-2018).
In my thesis "Body image in patients with residual eating disorder symptoms: treatment effects of acceptance and commitment therapy and participants' reflections", we examined an intervention based on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) targeting body image in patients with an eating disorder.
Since 2020, I am involved in a project as a trainee in psychometrics, including development and investigation of different patient-reported outcome measures.
