Om Maria Fogelkvist
Från januari 2022 arbetar jag som samordnare inom Mottagningen psykisk ohälsa barn och unga, Område Nära vård. Tidigare har jag arbetat som psykolog på Ätstörningsmottagningen, Psykiatri för barn och unga vuxna, Region Örebro län, 2018-2021. Jag har även arbetat som psykolog inom barn- och ungdomspsykiatrin, Örebromottagningen, från 2010 till 2018.
2013 blev jag antagen som doktorand vid Örebro universitet, Institutionen för Medicinska Vetenskaper (MV), med anställning vid Universitetssjukvårdens forskningscentrum (UFC), Hälso- och sjukvårdsförvaltningen (HS). Jag disputerade 2021 med avhandlingen "Body image in patients with residual eating disorder symptoms: treatment effects of acceptance and commitment therapy and participants' reflections".
Mitt avhandlingsarbete handlade om att utvärdera en gruppbehandling för patienter med ätstörning och kroppsmissnöje, avseende både behandlingseffekt och deltagarnas reflektioner. Vi ville undersöka om en behandling som baseras på Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) kunde vara hjälpsamt för att minska symtom av ätstörning och kroppsmissnöje.
2020 påbörjade jag ett projekt som "trainee" inom psykometri vid UFC, med syfte att fördjupa mina kunskaper inom framtagning och utvärdering av hälsorelaterade skattningsskalor.
