About Maria Melle

Maria Melle works as an International Coordinator at the International Office, which is part of the Student Services division at Örebro University.

She coordinates the scholarship programmes Minor Field Studies (MFS) and Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM). MFS offers students the opportunity to conduct field studies in low- and middle-income countries as part of their degree project or bachelor's/masters's thesis. ICM enables student and staff exchanges with universities outside of Europe within the Erasmus programme framework. Maria is responsible for the administration, processing, and development of these programmes, as well as providing support to participating students, staff, and partner institutions.

Maria also coordinates outgoing student mobility and manages bilateral exchange agreements, with a particular focus on countries in Central and South America, Australia, Africa, non-EU Europe, and Southwest Asia.

In addition, she is responsible for marketing efforts targeting incoming exchange students and Örebro University's international partner universities.
