About Paulina Wiktor
Paulina Wiktor is a licensed psychologist and a PhD student. She works part-time as a researcher at Örebro University and part-time as a psychologist at the Psychiatric Trauma Clinic in Örebro, where she treats patients with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Paulina Wiktor research focus is understanding and treating trauma after childbirth. She is a PhD student in the ReWrite Birth project, which aims to develop and evaluate a multi-professional intervention designed to reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress after a traumatic birth experience. The long-term goal of this project is to provide healthcare with effective tools to identify and treat psychological trauma related to childbirth and to prevent the development of birth-related PTSD.
