About us within Food and Health

Foods produced sustainably with health benefits are becoming the first choice of consumers – – this is the vision of the university-wide Food and Health Center. By placing health at the centre of the sustainable food system of the future, we are driving the development towards the use of healthier foods and promoting better health and well-being.
A collaboration platform connected to the Food and Health Center at Örebro University is currently being established. The platform will facilitate change by establishing the right conditions for small and medium-sized enterprises and other actors in the food and hospitality sector to utilise our knowledge and expertise. Initial efforts will concentrate on establishing a front office, sustainable frameworks, and forms for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation.
