Webinar on Violence Research for Junior Researchers at Örebro University

This invitation goes to all junior researchers (i.e. postdocs and PhD students) at Örebro University, who study any form of violence. The aim of the webinar is to introduce the multiplicity of violence research and to discuss the establishment of a network for junior violence researchers at ORU.
Interested participants are requested to submit a three-slide PowerPoint presentation containing the following information to no later than 7 December:
- A brief personal introduction
- Your violence research (e.g., publications, topic for doctoral thesis, research interests)
- How could a network for junior violence researchers at ORU be useful for you in your research career? What would you like this network to offer you (e.g., seminars, activities)?
The webinar will be held in English.
This webinar will be arranged by the Centre for Violence Studies (CVS), which is one of three new research environments at ORU and funded by the HS Faculty’s strategic investment in multi-disciplinary research environments. The ambition of the CVS is to establish a centre for knowledge production on violence in society, to enable collaboration between academia and the surrounding society, and to increase understanding and knowledge about violent research and its results.
