Experimental and clinical studies of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm - effects of spontaneous and therapeutic hypothermia

The project aims to develop animal experimental models for retroperitoneal aortic hemorrhage and to subsequently study the effect of different treatments, e.g. therapeutic hypothermia, in this condition. The project includes animal experimental models with physiological, metabolic and inflammatory measurement methods as well as a clinical cohort of patients treated for ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm.
