Request for course change during the semester

If you wish to make changes to your course selection during the semester you need to complete the following form.

Please note that Örebro University does not have an official add/drop period for courses. As a result, course changes for exchange students are highly restricted. To be eligible for a course change, all of the following conditions must be met:

  1. Seats are available in the desired course (the International Office will confirm this with the respective school).
  2. You meet the eligibility requirements for the course.
  3. We receive confirmation (in English) from your home university coordinator that there is a valid academic reason for the change
    OR
    There is a scheduling conflict that qualifies as follows: A clash between two mandatory course sessions, or a clash of at least three non-mandatory course sessions.

The course code for each course can be found in the course syllabus (e.g. SV022G, FE112G). The application code starts with X- and can be found on the respective course page in our course catalogue furthest down (e.g. X2900).

Confirmation from your coordinator

Please attach the email conversation or a document certifying the approval from your coordinator at your home university. Alternatively your coordinator can also send an email to exchange@oru.se to confirm his/her approval.
