Housing for Exchange Students
As an exchange student, you are guaranteed housing at Campus Örebro on the condition that your housing application is submitted correctly and received on time. Before arrival you must also make a payment for rent in advance. The Housing Office at Örebro University provides all housing services for exchange students.
If you have sent in the form "Application for exchange students" and ticked in the box to apply for housing, we have made a preliminary reservation for you. After you have received your Letter of Acceptance you must pay the rent in advance. The invoice will be send out by finance office end of November to your email with payment instruction. Last day to pay is 31 December . We will not make a definite reservation of housing until we have received notice of your payment. Consequently we cannot provide you with the address until you have arrived. Under "Allocation of housing" you can see what is considered when we place you in different housing. After payment, you do not need to contact us for payment confirmation. However, we will contact you if we have not received your payment.
Please note! Students with special housing requirements due to disabilities must provide a certificate both from a medical doctor and the home university. This must be done together with the online application!
