Örebro University Scholarship 2018/2019

Awarded Scholarships for the Academic Year 2018/2019

There were many well-qualified applicants for the Örebro University Scholarships. The following scholarships covering the full tuition have been awarded based on commitment to studies at Örebro University, suitability for the programme of study and academic merits.

  • Scherpa Neema, Master in Social Analysis

  • Aisha Hashim, Master in Public Planning Sustainable Development

  • Solomon Gyan Dapaa, Master in Applied Statistics 

  • Kirsten Krüger, Master in Nutritional Molucular Medicine

Decisions to award the scholarships were made April 24, 2018. Students who are awarded a scholarship will be notified by e-mail. 

The Örebro University Scholarship programme is aimed at top academic students from countries outside the European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland, who are required to pay tuition fees for studies starting after June 2011. The scholarship covers full or partial tuition fees but does not cover living expenses.

The scholarship is awarded based on:

  • the applicant's suitability for and commitments to the chosen study programme
  • academic qualifications
  • desire to study at Örebro University (first priority).

Deadline for applications for the Örebro University Scholarship 2019/2020 is January 31, 2019.

The Swedish Institute

Note that the Swedish Institute also offer scholarships for students from many countries. The Swedish Institute awards about 500 scholarships per year to students and researchers who want to come to Sweden.
