About Christian Lundahl

Christian Lundahl (b. 1972) is a professor of education at Örebro University and one of Sweden's most accomplished researchers in the field of grading and assessment. Lundahl conducts research on the history of education, international comparisons, knowledge assessment, and education policy, partly from a curriculum theory perspective. He has taught in the Teacher Education Program, the Study and Career Guidance Program, and the School Leader Training Program on topics such as state governance, evaluation, and assessment — areas in which several of his books have also been used as course literature.

Lundahl also trains school leaders and municipal school administrations on evidence-based schooling and best practices drawn from proven experience. He serves as scientific lead on several research projects related to knowledge assessment, education policy, and educational history. He is also the scientific lead for R&D projects conducted in collaboration with municipalities, aimed at developing teachers' assessment competence.
