About Kevin Rocco

I joined the MTM Research Center as a postdoctoral researcher in 2023. I obtained B.Sc (Chemistry - 2017) at Bordeaux University; Master (Ecotoxicology - 2019) at Bordeaux University and PhD (Environmental Analytical Chemistry - 2023) at the National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment, University of Lyon.

Research

I'm a postdoctoral researcher in organic environmental chemistry at Örebro University, in the MTM Research Center. My research focuses on the detection of known and unknown organic micropollutants in environmental matrices. I'm particularly interested in the development and implementation of new analytical methodologies, mainly through the combination of effect-based and effect-directed analysis with in-depth non-target chemical screening.
