About Leila Aro-Sati
Leila Aro-Sati is a PhD Candidate in Informatics and a university lecturer. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from King’s College London, a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics from Örebro University, and an Advanced Master’s degree in Statistical Data Analysis from Ghent University.
She has an international academic and professional background spanning the United Kingdom, Belgium, Sweden, and the consulting sector. Before starting her doctoral studies, she worked as a Transfer Pricing researcher at Ghent University and as a consultant at PwC, gaining experience at the intersection of data analysis, international taxation, business, and applied research.
She is active in both research and teaching within the Department of Informatics, with a particular focus on information security, artificial intelligence, and data analytics. Her research has been published in international academic outlets, including European Research on Management and Business Economics, and in the proceedings of the 24th International Conference on Perspectives in Business Informatics Research, BIR 2025.
