Docent lecture with Daniel Eklund, newly appointed Docent in Medical science, with a specialization in biomedicine gives a docent lecture.
Daniel Eklund is a researcher in immunology at the School of Medical Sciences at Örebro University. The research aims to understand how proinflammatory and anti-inflammatory signals, cells, and processes interact and contribute to the development and severity of diseases. Particularly in focus is the role that monocytes and the inflammasome play in both hyperinflammation and impaired immune function.
